For sale a very nice Luxman R-3030 receiver -

The unit has been recapped and brought to spec. Updated Blue LED bulbs.
Modestly rated 8/10 due to an unfortunate little nick while removing the unit from the rack.

Luxman stereos from late 70's are well known for their reliability and sound quality.
This receiver has exceptionally smooth and balanced sound, due to employment of famous Duo-Beta circuit, that was exclusively patented by Lux Corporation. As opposed to most Sansui and Pioneer receivers, there's not even a trace of harshness. Unlike Marantz receivers, the sound is not heavily colored, yet Luxman manages to approach the perfect sweet softness of real tube amplifier.
The build quality is top notch; the signal path is short, with only a few capacitors used to preserve the authentic music quality, and all parts used are premium quality parts.

30 Watts (underrated) of Luxman power go a long way. Those 30 watts RMS per side
sound just as loud as today's amplifier rated at 50 Watts per channel.

Sweet delicate transparent sound, perfect for classical, instrumental, jazz
and new age music.
This highly refined piece of equipment was meant to enjoy by a connoisseur.
