Up for sale are our amazing Demo Pair of Wilson Benesch Resolution Loudspeakers in upgraded bespoke Dark Ebony Walnut finish. These are being offered by devAAudio, an authorized Wilson Benesch Dealer. These speakers are incredible and have been a true gem in terms of high performance audio for our store for the past several years. Their sound is a thing of beauty. Transparent, smooth, elegant, with super fast and tight bass performance from the dual paired isobaric drive units. The hybrid carbon fiber and silk dome tweeter is truly exceptional and can hit hard with beautiful release. The midrange and simple crossover network really allow you to get the full potential from your parnterning electronics. These speakers are non-fatiguing and simply so musical. Most of our customers make comments about how instruments and voices just sound so real. 

Wilson Benesch recently made changes to their lineup and this model has been replaced by the Resolution 3Zero which is the reason for sale. The speakers are currently setup in our retail showroom in Leawood, KS and can be actively demonstrated with Audio Research and D'agostino electronics for interested buyers.

OVERVIEW:

Resolution loudspeaker was designed and engineered at the Wilson Benesch manufacturing facility in England. Resolution incorporates the company’s state-of-the-art drive technology in a unique high-tech enclosure, formed from a carbon fibre composite monocoque and precision machined metal-alloy components.

Resolution is equipped with the latest Wilson Benesch drive technologies, that have been designed, developed and manufactured by the company’s design team. Both the Tactic-II dynamic drive unit and the Semisphere Tweeter are built using powerful NdFeb magnets. The magnets are assembled within highly engineered, low-profile alloy structures designed to extract maximum power from the exotic magnets.

Isotactic Polypropylene in utilised in the Tactic-II and a Silk-Carbon hybrid dome in the Semisphere. The choice of materials within the membrane of the drive technology is criticalto the character of the Resolution, providing an intelligently considered balance of stiffness and damping characteristics. The Resolution is capable of producing a wide bandwidth frequencyresponse from 30Hz to 30kHz, while remaining transparent and integrated across the band, suspending belief and allowing the listener to disappear within a wide-open soundscape.

Every Geometry Series loudspeaker is handmade to order. The sculptured carbon fibre top and carbon fibre enclosure combines with an aerospace Silk Black baffle and foot. The Resolution can be engineered, with a range of bespoke high gloss polymers, stunning natural wood veneers and P1 coloured carbon fibre finishes to give the loudspeaker an identity unique to its owner.

Equipped with a total of 14 Wilson Benesch drive units per pair, the Resolution is capable of delivering wide bandwidth sound from 30Hz to 30kHz. The Resolution benefits from years ofdedicated research and development that saw the realisation of designs such as the Cardinal, Endeavour and A.C.T. One Evolution.
