Audio Note (UK) AN-K/SPX SE - EXTREMELY RARE!!!

Excellent+ pair of Audio Note UK AN-K/SPX Se “Super K’s” for sale. These are extremely rare.

The speakers are in terrific condition, I am the second owner. These are wired internally with the very expensive SPX silver cables. The finish is a gorgeously reflective and rich Alder veneer. The sound is airy with rich and full bass overall they have just a beautiful tone. To me their most defining quality is that notes seem to just hang in the air.

Disclaimers: There are very very slight blemishes, I counted 2, but unnoticeable unless the light is reflecting just right and you get down close to inspect (hence the price). I tried to take a picture but I couldn’t get them to show up in the photographs. I also had both drivers swapped out for the current model AN-K drivers by whiz kid Nick Gowan at True Sound here in the Bay Area. Nick is a former Audio Note UK tech and only one of TWO official Audio Note service centers in the US (the other is Brooklyn, NY). There was a slight scuff on one driver (that did not affect the sound) and I decided to replace them both as Audio Note takes very great care to match their drivers. They now have about 100 hours on them and sound just as good if not better than the old drivers.

I’m selling because I need to scratch an itch and find myself some floor standers to try out with my Leben 300xs (did I mention these are very easy to drive?) - definitely anxious about letting the Super-K's go but if you’re here you know the feeling of wanting to try something different.

These will ship with original packaging and will also come with pure silver jumpers.

Asking $6800 + PayPal fees (unless using Friends and Family) + shipping and insurance (buyer can choose which shipping service). Selling only to the lower 48 US states, or local pick up.

Stands are not included, but if picking up locally I’d be happy to throw them in.
