- Sansui 9090DB Stereo Receiver: with original owners manual and schematic
NOTES:
- Original owner! Purchased entire system in Yokosuka Japan in 1977. Used extensively until 2017 when moved them to bedroom closet to store.
- Receiver has good functionality. Will need minor servicing, cleaning and/or adjustments. Functions when plugged in. Intermittent crackling heard when selecting tone control knobs and selectors. May be simple oxidation on switch contacts after 40 years of use, requiring cleaning. Also, balance control setting works best when set between fully CCW and center to achieve balanced speaker output. Recommend servicing to correct and bring to original settings, but will work fine as is. I have not opened the unit to correct issues. UPDATE:ordered 4 power transistors 2SD424 & 2SB554 for replacement.
- Receiver has some indicator light malfunctions mainly around AM/FM band display window. Minor scratches only. No missing or broken pieces of trim or wood.
