Ypsilon Electronics 300B silver edition monoblocks

This is a very special listing for the truly discerning buyer.  I am very very reluctantly parting with my Custom made Ypsilon parallel single ended 300b amplifiers.  Demetris at Ypsilon had offered these amps several years back, but stopped making them.  I requested he make these for me, using all silver wire and transformers, and to use an input tube that would lower the gain just a little to be dead silent when used with highly efficient horns.  They have 18 watts of super pure and rich power, and have been an absolute delight to own and listen to for the past 3 years.  I sadly must now part with them, because I have changed my speaker platform to active speakers, and while I considered keeping them just to have them, I have now decided to sell.   They are works of art, and made as solid as you can imagine.  They weight 90 pounds each.  They will come with Mullard GZ34 and EZ 81 regulation and rectifier tubes, and at my asking price, will also come with Western Electric 205D input tubes, which cost me $6,000.  They are super special, and were built to last forever like the 1950s era 300b tubes.  The amps will also come with the Psvane 205D standard tubes, as well as two sets of Psvane 300b tubes.  I also have a set of Takatsuki that I would consider including, again, at the asking price.  I did not use them.  The amps come in two very robust and gorgeously made wooden crates, with quite luxurious insides.  Another interesting point, is that these are bookmatched - that is mirror imaged for symmetry in cable connections.  Finally, there is also an XLR connection, but it is for secure connection, not a balanced source, but a balanced source can be connected to them.  And as a bonus, I requested a pass through connection to be able to connect external subs essentially direct to the preamp but through the amps, in order not to have to run two pairs of long cables if equipment is placed on the side or the back of the room.  In sum, these are truly special amps, and likely to be among the best 300b amps ever made.  Demetris really lavished care on these!
