Tekton Lore, 10 inch woofer, 1 inch silk dome tweeter, 8 ohms, 98 db, 200 wattts, 30hz - 30k hz, 39h x 12w x 13d. Purchased new in 2017, lightly used until 2021, boxed in a cool dry basement since then. They play as new, some very light, difficult to see scratches have me listing as a 9/10. They are custom burgandy color. With the low price I am asking it probably doesn't justify shipping costs added so I am looking for local pick up buyers, but if you are willing to cover shipping I will ship.

| Those sure look like the tweeters of Lore reference. Can you prove these are Lore? That is a great question and I'm surprised the few people who expressed some interest in them did not ask. I've posed the same question to Eric Alexander at Tekton but he would not respond. This is the Lore size cabinet, but you are correct it is not the Lore tweeter or woofer that you see in images of the Lore on the website. But I ordered Lore and this is what I received. No paperwork came with them. It took me about a year to realize this and at that time I emailed Eric with questions about recommend amplifiers to which he responded but when I asked about the tweeter and woofer looking like those in the Lore Reference, but for the Reference having an 8 inch woofer in a smaller cabinet, he stopped responding. What I have looks like the Reference but I have a 10 woofer in the regular Lore size cabinet. It's the silk dome tweeter Tekton uses in most speakers and a woofer used in many speakers. So, I don't know if this was the Lore design at the time, 2016, and it changed after or if Eric was short on parts and pulled a fast one on me. It's just strange how he stopped answering my questions and no paperwork came with them. I think I still have the emails I sent him. But, I feel ok selling them as Lore since that is what Tekton sold me and they do sound great. I just wanted to return to my Thiels. Any further questions please ask. |
