work. After I make an offer it freezes up when I get to the confirm order I’m offering you $1150.00 for the amp. It will need a full recap at $700 plus shipping. I just got off the [filtered] with Ayre. I will be using a credit card.

| Sorry, one last question. Can you tell me what the exact dates were or do you have a receipt for the amplifier when it went to back to Ayre for the upgrades and checkup. Was it in the last five years? If so, did it get a clean bill of health with the main capacitors. The last time the unit went back to Ayre was at least 15 years ago. You can see the serial number on the posted photo if that helps. It was purchased from Nicholson's hi-fi, which has since gone out of business, in Nashville TN. I used the unit in my system with AR LS22 preamp and Theil CS 1.5 speakers until recently, and there has been no audible degradation of performance. I recently replaced my entire system, but the Ayre was the last component I replaced when my dealer sold me a 4 yr old Bryston 4B cubed for a great price. It now drives a Bryston BR-60 preamp and Perlisten R5T speakers. Please restate your offer. |

| What upgrades were done and when. Also can I get pictures of heat sinks. Are there any visible scratches Thanks Wadia 150 Two upgrades were done several years ago, and as far as I know no other upgrades were offered. I forget the technical details, but I think they involved the power supply. I know I sent the amp back to Ayre on two occasions. I will post pictures of the inside. |
