Vintage Art Audio - Restored Kenwood KA-8300 Integrated Amplifier

This looker is powder coated top to bottom with satin silver and gloss black and it makes a very bold statement, but what’s under the hood is even better! Here are the vitals:

* All resistors were upgraded, most of them to 1% tolerance metal film and in the power supply we used higher wattage ratings.
* All electrolytic, ceramic and film capacitors were upgraded and the main filter caps were punched up to 22,000uF -- from 15,000uF -- and bypassed with a polypropylene cap.
* All diodes and transistors were upgraded except the output packs and germanium diodes.
* New lamp bulbs, lamp fuse and protection relay.
* All switches and potentiometers received the prerequisite Deoxit treatment with bass and treble pots removed from their circuit boards for easy access to cleaning.

There’s really not much more to say other than if you can find a better sounding, or looking KA-8300, buy it ... but you won’t be able to find one.
