marantz-sr8012-review/) - The offered unit has had very minimal usr (and appears “new” in every respect; see pics!) It was in a formal HT with no kids, no smoking and minimal-use* household; .*Prefer not to watch movies in HT alone and my wife was often “too tired” at end of long-days. so ended up having less than 50-ish hrs at end of two-yrs before I updated our HT across the board in an effort to make it (EVEN) more appealing to encourage spousal "wake-ness".
The SR8012 has been pristinely packed in its org box with all included accessories for approx 2-yrs. Had planned to use it as a MBR theater hub, but just too much of an investment, so it’s up-for-sale! Listed below is some general info:- Enjoy your two-channel CDs via MARANTZ SR8012s unique advanced audio amp topology (optimized for outstanding audio reproduction) at 140W RMS / ch @ 8-ohms.
For HT use, extend that same multi-channel optimization via identical individual amps to an additional seven powered channels, for a total of nine. Two additional Dolby ATMOS / DTS:X channels can be added, via external 2-ch amplification, for eleven total (7 surrounds & 4 "effects") plus the ability to drive two self-powered subwoofer (via pre-amp out t RCA) channels.
