I'm the second owner; purchased from the original owner in May 2000.  A remarkable phono pre-amp for the ages.  This is one of the coveted "e" units with both balanced and unbalanced outputs.  Tested, inspected and fully serviced by former Threshold factory technician Jon Soderberg of Vintage Amp Repair, Citrus Heights, California in August 2022.  In addition to the usual Power Supply and PCB cap replacements, two JFET input 5566's were replaced to return the unit to original factory specs.  The unit has been used or stored in a temperature controlled, smoke-free, pet-free home environment.  Other than random minor light surface scuffs on the top and bottom, the only real blemishes are the two small dimples on the upper right (see pic).  Purchase includes the pre-amp, power supply with interlock power cable, power cord, Vintage Amp Repair repair order, and original factory operating manual.  Packing will replicate the original factory box, including soft blue foam form-fit surrounding the gear.  If you want to hear how the music was truly intended to be heard, this is the phono pre-amp for you.  It needs nothing.  All you have to do is unpack it, connect it to your system, then just sit back and enjoy!  Your questions and counter offers are welcome.
