Cary Audio SLP-98 F1

A very rare F1 version of this legendary preamp that Upscale's Kevin Deal asked his pal Dennis Had of Cary to make him exclusively at one time. Please read up on the differences between the F1 and the standard SLP-98. The upgrades were chosen by Dennis and Kevin to take this pre to the next level. Look at what these now sell for new and then add in the $500 uncharge for the F1 upgrades Cary will still perform for these units.

There is not a mark on it and I'm including four excellent NOS 6SN7s from Russia that are incredible. Quiet, lovely, lush

I was going to pair this with some Cary 805 Anniversary amps for the ultimate system - but opted in the end for another SLI-80 instead. Got to thinking that separates are a bit overkill for this old fellow nowadays!
