AVM Audio MA 8.2

This is a listing for an end-game quality set of amplifiers - AVM Audio MA 8.2. Please look at reviews and read up on these amps. They are amazing! This company is based out of Germany and they have many support locations here if you would ever need it, but these things are built like tanks. After speaking with the owner, Udo reassured me that it would take a war for these amplifiers to break - they are built to last a lifetime. They also have many fail-safes built into the amp itself to prevent anything from ever happening - very sophisticated technology. 

This is a high end amplifier, so please know that these monoblocks are fully balanced & has a DC coupled signal path (balanced differential amplifier). Class A - A/B high current MOSFET technology with more than 1,100 watts on all loads. It was also their flagship monoblocks amplifiers, but a few years ago they released the MA 8.3; however, the changes were minimal in my opinion. They made it look better cosmetically with a glass panel on top and charged another 10k for it, but majority of the interior of this amp is the same as the new version. 
These amps deliver nearly any desired power level even into critical loudspeakers without loss of control over the loudspeaker. Far over 1200 Watts into 4 Ohms is surely sufficient for reproduction of any kind of music even when listening at original sound levels. Nevertheless this amplifier can also play at moderate levels without losing precision or missing even finest details and the may reproduce also the intimate atmosphere of a i.e. chamber orchestras.

This is a review found on Stereophile on these amps, and I 100% agree with it after living with them for a little less than 2 years now (bought it as a demo from Bob of Rhapsody Audio): "If your priorities in sound include precision, speed of attack, exciting dynamic contrasts, a truthful presentation, and tonal neutrality that allows a recording's inherent beauty to sing, you owe AVM's Ovation MA8.2 monoblocks a long listen. At $29,990/pair, cheap they ain't. But if you can find a way to let them sing in your system, you will, in many ways, feel rich indeed. Most highly recommended."

I am selling because I now rep VAC equipment at my store, so I no longer need this amplifier. It has served me well for a couple years - very enjoyable and I will certainly miss them... They come with original boxes (metal crates - please see pics), so shipping will be expensive. They are HEAVY! Also comes with manual. Please note, what you might see in the pictures are reflections from the front panel. The amps are in great shape cosmetically (8.5/10 if I'm being stingy) showing signs of normal wear, and perform flawlessly. Perfect working condition!
