This is a customer trade of an Ayon Audio CD-T II and Kronos Signature DAC (See separate listing). I have tested the output via tube and transistor and it works flawlessly.
you will see this unit is not in flawless condition. There are scrapes along the front top edge and nicks in the top. It sounds phenomenal though.

| How does this qualify as 7/10 ("1 or 2 minor scratches, looks used but well maintained")? From the pictures, it looks more like a 5/10 ("Multiple scratches, including some on the front face") or a 4/10 ("Rough physical condition..."). What happened to this piece? It looks like it was in a bar fight and lost. The customer who traded it has a tight space in his listening room. Unfortunately, when he swapped out gear, this unit was on top and he would set his cables across it. The unit works wonderfully and the issue is strictly cosmetic.
Your critique of my ranking is fair. That said, I did not click on the list to see what each ranking was and I did call out the issues and provide detailed photos. Not trying to hide anything, simply lazy in the posting. |
