Mint condition demo with full warranty! FREE SHIPPING! E-Young is a high performance, very high value D/A converter capable of handling up to 384 kHz sampling rates and a full 32 bits of resolution (USB input). The E-Young features a high speed asynchronous USB input based on “HiFace” technology, further developed to allow for higher sampling rates. A comprehensive input set (S/PDIF on RCA and BNC, AES/EBU on XLR and optical on Toslink), provide great connection versatility. Despite its price, the E-Young encompasses a leading edge technology for data handling and processing. A high performance oversampling filter, custom-made on a programmable logic device (FPGA) implements minimum-phase filters optimized for sound quality providing a very low noise floor. A 32 bit D/A integrated circuit is used in a non-conventional mode allowing 768 kHz internal operation. The synergy between the DAC IC and the custom over-sampler, allows for the exceptionally low noise floor and THD. The output buffer uses a special operational amplifier with very low noise and THD thanks to its class-A biased output stage. The small size and stylish look of the E -Young allows for easy placement in almost 1any living space. Reviews: "...the unit sounded far better than what my pre-pro could do, and reminded me of the best D/A conversion I've had in my system, the TEAC Esoteric P-05, D-05 transport and converter, two of only five units I've reviewed over the years that I regretted having to send back to the distributor for lack of funds to purchase. Compared to my Oppo BD-95 unit, reviewed last month, my Integra 9.8 pre-pro, home theater computer, and Toshiba HD-DVD player, this unit skunks them all. While using the home theater computer as the transport, through its USB output using the HiFace USB to S/PDIF converter to my Integra pre-pro sounds very good, this unit beats this and the above mentioned units hands down. I could also hear no significant difference between the USB and S/PDIF input over the test period confirming the remarkable jitter reduction ability of the unit." Bill Gaw, Enjoy The Music Five Star Rating from Hi-Fi Choice Magazine, UK "An exceptional, really exceptional DAC open for what will come tomorrow, handling almost everything that we have today. Almost, because there is still the undiscovered world of DSD files… It is small, nice and has a splendid interface. Bravo!"
