This listing is for a pair of black Magnepan 1.7 with silver trim. The speakers are new in box.
I had sold a pair of 1.7 that were damaged in shipping by FedEx ground due to extremely rough handling. The speakers were sent to Magnepan for repair but due to a lack of spare parts for the 1.7, Magnepan decided to ship me a new pair off of the assembly line after a lengthy delay.
The speakers are located in Normal, Illinois. I am willing to drive/meet half way to St. Louis, Indianapolis, or Chicago for minimal cost.
I will ship the speakers (UPS or freight only) with this caveat; If there is shipping damage, I will assist in generating the damage claim and designate the receiver as the claim beneficiary, but the buyer is then wholly responsible for dealing with the freight company/Magnepan, etc to resolve the claim.
Having said that, Magnepan uses UPS to ship their smaller speakers(1.7 and under) so I have much more confidence in them for safe delivery.
Paypal is accepted for an addtional 3%.
