Selling my Magnepan MG-1.6QR speakers. Perfect cosmetics and working order. Original box and packing. Black with cherry rails. The black darkroom tape Magnepan used to use to mask the shiny, reflective parts of the speaker from showing through the grille cloth has lost its stick and has come off. Doesn't affect the sound in any way.

Thanks for your note. I bought them from a fellow Audiogon'er in about 2003 or 2004, and they were a few years old then. So, I'm guessing they date to about 2000. I suspect we could check with Magnepan (serial #'s 094683-1 and 094683-2) and I may have some original paper work on them.
