Magnepan MG Ic

For sale a pair of Magnepan MG Ic speakers.

They sound wonderful actually. Well at least in my personal opinion. By now I've now sold a pair of 1.7's for a client, MMG's and now these. I'm not an authorized Magnepan dealer however I am now getting used to the "tone / sound" that the entire brand delivers on. You can really hear much of what the new 1.7's do in this Ic, like the heritage of Magnepan sound. I'm really surprised, I'd say the 1.7's have a bold mid range compared than these. Still trying to wrap my head around these. But non the less cheap/ VERY involving pair of speakers. Perfect for someone who wants "Low volume/ high detail" listening with a full sound. Oh yes, I even tested "pop culture" music bass with these and they actually surprised me and did it very well. Of course you'll want to be off the wall a bit... but I did pair these up with a new amplifier solid state integrated amp. Plinius Hautonga (280wpc RMS in 4 ohms) gave it a solid sound, tight bass and a very open wide sound stage. The Hautonga seemed to be a great fit for the Magnepans. Normally I don't write about used (Clients) speaker but these are really worth you listening too. I mean they are only 400 bucks? Whats that in Hi Fi Audio these days??? Nothing? They were 875 new, even that was a steal in its prime days I bet.

Oh you probably want to know the condition of these. Well they are in Excellent condition for there age. No "pet hair" or Large scratches. I actually have a hard seeing any blemishes if any at all. But if your a serious buyer feel free to have a look for yourself.
