Pair of Ediswan CV5358 NOS made in England in 1964.

These tubes are new in box, NOS and test results back this statement.
They test very strong and closely matched, with low noise and microphonics.
Excellent transparant sound with tube warmth.
Both tubes are made in 1964 with exctly the same construction.

Some comments about these tubes:
Ediswan CV 5358 (splatter shield, steel pins) Good, palpable vocals, nice upper & mid bass with a nice sense of impact in that region. Good if slightly soft highs. This tube is almost in the same class with the Siemens gold pins if just a bit softer in balance on top...
Ediswan CV5358: Wonderful tube. Warm and detailed, tight bass, euphonic yet detailed, very 3-dimensional. Better than the more common CV2493, which is good, but not in this league.

All tubes are tested by Hickok 539C vacuum tube tester. This tester was precision calibrated by Roger Kennedy to improve measurement accuracy. 83 and 5Y3 tubes were replaced by Solid State rectifiers to minimize calibration drift in the tester.

I also perform listening tests on these tubes using Music Reference RM-4 pre-preamp (moving coil head amp), which has 30 db gain. This unit uses two 6DJ8 tubes (one for each channel). Each channel uses both sections of the 6DJ8 tube.
