McIntosh MC 2105 classic solid state stereo power amp w/ extras!

A beauitiful classic McIntosh MC 2105 stereo power amp in great shape! I have recently sent it to my local authorized McIntosh cervice center in Tampa, where it was completly gone through, cleaned, serviced and brought back up to factory spec. All the light bulbs were replaced, front end on both channels was gone through and replaced out of spec. parts with new factory ones, both left and right gain pots were replaced with new ones, installed upgraded, modern speaker binding posts on the rear so it will accept standard spades or bananas, RCA inputs upgraded to audiophile quality ones, upgraded the basic, fixed stock power cord with a nice sounding $150 JPS Labs GPA 14 gauge cord, and put a brand new front glass faceplate on to replace the original which had a few imperfections. (glass faceplate was $165 from Audio Classics). The amp now sounds "better than new" according to the tech, who said it was the best sounding 2105 he has ever heard. I will have to agree, for it sounds extremely dynamic, powerful and detailed, and well as now being dead quiet with your ear right up to the tweeters. Everything functions flawlessly, and it is in good cosmetic shape for an amp of it's age. These amps are built like tanks, and this one should be good to go for another 20 plus years for it's next owner. It is ready to go! I would HIGHLY prefer a local sale with pick-up, for it is extremely heavy and would require some serious boxing and packing materials. It can be shipped, but buyer must be willing to pay for the packing materials and shipping. No extra fees for PayPal at my asking price. Discount possible for local pick-up sale.
