McIntosh MLD-7020 was at the pinnacle of laser disc players and is still praised especially for audio quality when playing CDs. Unit SN 1437 is in very good to excellent condition, with the only flaws being just a few minor small smudges on top of cabinet, looking a bit like fingerprints, visible only at certain angles of lighting, but not responding to efforts to wipe away. This version has RF output on rear panel for driving a demodulator to generate AC-3 Dolby Digital Surround audio for coaxial input to a receiver or pre-amplifier. Unit has been used for less than approximately 100 hours and is fully operational. Bought two players, shown in one of the photos, new from Clark Music Company, Syracuse, NY in 1995 to be capable of viewing lengthy operas without significant interruption! Shipping box, all packing materials, user's manual and remote control, all included and in excellent condition! Asking $1200 for SN 1437 (unit to right in photo of pair). The second player, SN 1436 (unit to left in photo of pair), has been sold on AudiogoN!!!
