For your consideration, I have a McIntosh MVP831 DVD/CD player for sale in excellent condition. I ranked it as an 8/10 in terms of condition, but it could easily be a 9/10 though I opted to be on the conservative side. There are no visible scratches or marks on the front, top or rear panel. The glass face is in perfect condition. The top has some very minor oxidation but is barely noticeable. The unit has been protected behind glass on its own shelf in my stereo rack for the entire duration. All functions operate including the remote.
Though I've had the unit for a long time, it has had very minimal use, particularly in the last 5 years. To say I've been a light user of my McIntosh would be an overstatement. I watch a handful of movies a year and listen to CDs intermittently, adding up to no more than 20-25 hours of usage at most per year.
The unit excels at playing basic CDs and DVDs with excellent video and sound quality that McIntosh is known for. I need not extol the virtues of McIntosh's quality in this forum. The player will not play CD-R, CD-RW, DVD-R, SACD, etc., so buyers interested in this product should be looking for amazing sound quality for standard CDs and not be concerned about lack of Blue ray functionality for DVDs.
I have the original McIntosh double box which has been in my attic and is perfect for shipping.
I will accept PayPal or a money order.
