MCINTOSH MVP851 PLAYER PLAYS DVD'S & CD'S

Up for sale is my Mcintosh MVP851 dvd /cd player, in like new condition. It has the ability to play dvd's as well as cd's with outstanding quality. This Mac player has a built in progressive scan processor, which offers the highest resolution possible and sampling frequencies of 44,100hz-48,000hz-96,000hz. It can also extend audio frequencies from 4hz to beyond 20,000 hz with the built in re-master processor as well. The dacs are the 24 bit burr brown and are capable of sampling rates up to 192khz with 24 bit resolution. The built in processors improve the sound quality dramatically to any disc played. I just recently sold my Cary 303/300 cd player sacd player (which was used in my 2nd system) and honestly the Mac player out performed the Cary on most cds I played. The Mac player is not as finicky as most high end players can be. The MVP851 has a warm analog sound as opposed to being to bright and harsh. One thing people may not realize, this MVP851 can also be upgraded. Mcintosh can uprade this player but more notable and less costly is the Upgrade Company. They will take the MVP851's performance to the levels of most $45,000.00 components and that's no bull, check out their website. Sorry for the lousy picture but the Mac has a 9/10 rating.
