Three 12AX7 tubes by JAN Phillips
Four 12AT7 tubes by Mullard

EXTRAS INCLUDED: Tube dampers from Herbie’s Audio Labs for all tubes
High performance HiFi Tuning Fuse
Four spare Genalex KT88 power tubes (to be shipped separately)

The Amp is in excellent cosmetic and working condition and the tube cage is dent-free. Conservatively rated 8/10 for 1-2 very minor cosmetic flaws not visible from more than a foot away. In one of the pictures there appears to be a roughness on the bottom side edge which is actually dust I neglected to remove. Since the amp is packed double boxed I decided not to retake the picture and I’m currently prevented from lifting the 75 lb box due to recent surgery.
I also noticed that in one of the pictures there appears to be some scuffing on the autoformers; that is actually reflection from the KT88 power tubes reflecting onto the autoformers and distorting the picture. There are no scuffs or any defects on the autoformers.

The MC275 is rated at 75 Watts per channel; actual measured output is 90 watts per channel. Has both RCA and Balanced inputs. Weight: 67 pounds. Shipping weight: 75 lbs.

NOTE: Shipping costs have skyrocketed dramatically and the cost of shipping from my home in Denver to most places in the continental US with adequate replacement insurance is about $100.+ with either FedEx or UPS. I will cover the cost of shipping within the CONUS at my asking price. Lower offers, if accepted, I will cover 1/2 half shipping cost.

Asking price includes PayPal fees AND shipping within CONUS.

Questions for the seller
what are you replacing it with?
I've replaced it with another McIntosh, a solid state MC252 which although very good just doesn't have quite the magic of the MC275; my wife misses it, too, acually. I decided to move to solid state because I'm retired and trying to simplify my life although I'm staying with a Mc tube preamp in the system. Can't go completely without tubes.
