The Rendu supports gapless playback controlled from your computer, Android device and iOS device.
The Rendu is powered by an extremely low noise, low output impedance, very high quality linear power supply.
The Rendu is isolated from noise on the network.
The Rendu operates fully asynchronously using on board fixed frequency low jitter clocks.
The Rendu has an integrated, 32 bit, high precision volume control for PCM content. A controller that supports volume controll is required.
The Rendu plays AAC, AIFF, ALAC, DSF, DFF, FLAC, MP3, and WAV files from HTTP streams.
The Rendu is controlled via thrird party apps on a computer, Android, and iOS device.
The Rendu is an UPnPTM AV 2.0 / DLNA compliant device. SPDIF OUTPUT (STANDARD) it supports DSD/DoP pass thru from the SPDIF output. A server and DAC that supports DSD/DoP is required.
The Rendu features a true 75 ohm SPDIF BNC output. The Rendu supports up to 24 bit PCM playback at sample rates up to 192KHz via SPDIF.
HDMI i2s OUTPUT The i2s module supports up to 24 bit PCM playback at sample rates up to 192KHz. The i2s module supports native DSD playabck up to DSD128. The i2s module's LVDS driver has an order of magnitude lower jitter than the other drivers. The i2s voltage regulator for the LVDS driver is low noise, high bandwidth and high PSRR. The i2s module is gold plated to project exposed copper. The i2s module is impedance controlled. The i2s module uses a stripline design with traces buried in the inner layers of the board to give the best signal integrity and EMI protection.
The i2s module adds compatibility with: PSA PWD (MKI, MKII, and DSD), Rockna Wavequest, Sonore Signature DAC, K&K Audio RAKK DAC, W4S DAC-2 and DAC-2 DSDse.
