Meridian 861 + 621 861 v4 + HD621 HDMI switcher excellent OBM + remote

Offered is a combination of Meridian 861 v4 plus HD621 HDMI switcher with all original accessories (remote is brand new- unused). Please read the many rave reviews. Condition is 10/10 operationally for both units. Cosmetics: 9/10 for both (some slight stacking marks on top of 861- surface only).

I feel the combination of 861 v4 + HD621 is the BEST hdmi solution under $10k (used prices). The 2 pieces which are better and cost more than $15k (used prices) are: 861v6 + HD621 AND the Krell EVO707. Just my opinion ofcourse.
Another strong contender is the Classe SSP-800 which offers convenience in a 1-box solution but it does fall short of the 861 in terms of audio.
Finally, we have the Theta Casablanca HD which has only 4 HDMI inputs. Different sound (more analytical) and not forgiving of poor sources upstream. Superb in pure 2-ch analog mode.

This particular 861v4 is an analog lovers configuration who will use non-Meridian speakers. Included is the balanced input card (2 pairs of inputs) and 8 channels of XLR outputs for driving conventional amps and non-Meridian speakers.

NOTE: Please do not confuse this ver 4 with older units which are much lacking in software features. Also, units without XLR outputs (2 cards- total of 8-ch) will be priced approx $3k lower- so do not use those as a pricing reference.
