DD-33 with the MA-707 Dynamic Balance Tonearm(minus sliding weight) Its fitted with Ortofon FF 10 XE cartridge plus I am including a second extra NIB Ortofon FF 10 XE cartridge.. TT circa 1979-1982. Direct Drive, Semi-Automatic. Electronic tonearm lower/lift/shut-off . Electronic trip system employs Hall Effect sensor and is devoid of all mechanical links giving it the ability to trace superbly at less than 1 gram vertical tracking force. Power failure auto arm lift. Oil-damped tonearm cueing. Dynamically balanced, variable mass straight-line tonearm for medium to high-compliance cartridges.Carbon fibre headshell and special high strength aluminum alloy arm. Dual precision radial bearings, lateral arm sensitivity of less than 10mg. A very clean example of this model. There is a small blemish to the varnish from the dustcover(not included because it has a crack near the hinge but I will pack it with the table) on front left side..needs stain touchup, and a smaller nick on right edge..could return to perfect easily though..iv just beeen too lazy to go match stain...ill remove platter and cabletie arm and shrinkwrap TT body with a lid before lots of bubblewrap or beads..its a tank..usually nothing goes wrong with these even after 40 years, first thing might be tonearm wires where they bend but this ones working perfectly..this is a beauty..buyer pay 3% paypal plus shipping.Included ortofon FF 10 XE cartridge... Here are some example Audiogon threads about this model:02-11-06: Sit:There is a Micro Seiki DD-31 semi automatic table for sale right now on Audiogon. I've owned a DD-33 since new in '78 and it is still in use on one of my systems. Great table. Check it out. I do not believe you'd be disappointed.Sit (Threads Answers This Thread) Pinkfishmedia:Thread 13-03-06, 6:45 PM Joan:I've owned a DD33 since 1979 and it has perfromed wonderfully without pause. I still employ it nicely on my whole house system. Solid performer and quite unbeatable for the investment.
Questions for the seller |
---|
This looks like a nice table. Does the arm work with out the missing sliding weight? Can the crack in the dust cover at the hinge location be repared? yes works fine..weight is only for using with a certain type of cartridge..i think high force..research it on net....as for crack you could try but might be better to get a new lid if you want perfection. lid works fine though ill ship with lid attached for protection |
