Micro Seiki SX 5000 II ULTRA RARE

Ultra rare Micro Seiki SX 5000 II turntable is in very good condition.
It has a 2-part platter with vinyl edging at the border and towards the centre. A spindle screws into the centre of the platter. The base has two hose ports on the back labelled Float and Vacuum.
The motor unit has a removable shroud that covers the drive shaft pulley. The centre of the shroud is dark glass and is marked Micro Hysteresis Synchronous Phonomotor Unit RY-5500 II. This type of the motor is a good choice for fixed speed designs for the speed is locked to the power line frequency. Thus, the drive system has a good source of regulation. Speed stability is good and drift is very low. The top front of the unit has a button for start/stop, suction, and 33/45 rpm. Its colour is little bit darker then the main base which can be seen on the picture. There are three hose ports on the back of the unit marked V, B, and C and a power connection and groundnut. These are shown in the picture.
The tonearm base bolts to the side of the side of the turntable base with two included machine screws as well as bolts to the top with two included self-covering bolts. As you can see, the inset portion of this piece has been modified, apparently for some particular tonearm set-up.
The power supply is simply a metal box with a line cord, power cord that plugs into the motor unit, two prong outlet and fuse.
The pump unit is marked Micro Air Pump Unit Model RP-1110. It has an on/off switch and indicator light on top and hose outlets on the back marked A, B, C. Three vinyl hoses banded together are included.
Also included are some accessory parts: 2 lifting handles to remove/replace the two platter sections, Seamless Fabric belt SF-1. Also included is an illustrated original manual - the writing is all in Japanese but the illustrations are fairly helpful.
It is 100V version, but you can use step-down transformer in your country.
The units have some light scratches somewhere due to its age, but nothing seriously. The platter had been polished on CNC machine and then coated with original coating in crystal clear finishing in spring 2011. So, no need worry about polishing anymore.
