In 1963, Davis was in a transitional phase without a regular group. This album consists of two sessions – one in Hollywood, the other in New York – with somewhat different personnel in the two sessions. Includes Victor Feldman, Herbie Hancock, George Coleman, Frank Butler, Tony Williams and Ron Carter.
This record from my private collection and has been cleaned on a VPI 16.5 using L’Art du Son cleaning fluid.
