Monitor Audio Silver Series; R/L, Ctr. & Surrounds 5i R/L, 10i Ctr, FXi Surr.

Selling my Monitor Audio Silver Series Home Theater speakers which I have thoroughly enjoyed for 12 years. I am original owner; purchased new from authorized dealer in April of 2000 for $2,005 (list price was $2,497). These speakers are from the pre-China era; all 5 speakers were manufactured in England. Cosmetically, speakers are in good presentable condition as can be seen from the photos. There are some scratches and scuffs, but consistent with well-cared-for speakers of this age. I believe I am conservative rating them a "6". One large scratch on lower side of one tower can be seen in photo. All grills are in good shape with no holes or tears. The top edge of the grills on the surround speakers show some fading in color. There is some overall darkening of the cherry finish on the towers which can be seen in photos as an outline of the grill. The finish on the center speaker is black oak, and matt black on the surrounds.

Functionally, all the speakers are flawless and sound great: The headline for the Home Theater Magazine review of this speaker series by Joe Hageman and Brent Butterworth reads: "Joe Hageman goes way over the edge with his most enthusiastic review ever: 'Just Buy Them.' Monitor Audio's amazingly affordable Silver Series speakers."

The surround stands are adjustable in height from 30" to 44". I have all original paperwork and packaging and can provide detailed measurements and specs for each speaker, please feel free to contact me.
