Acoustic Energy AE-22 Excellent Monitor Speaker

Acoustic Energy AE22 passive studio monitor. These speakers are in excellent condition.  The clarity of this speaker is exceptional. While listening to music, we’ve all come across a word or phrase that is unclear or simply not understandable. With this speaker, those indistinguishable phrases are now revealed. This is the most revealing and transparent speaker I have encountered and yet still manages to sound  musical and not sterile. Great sensitivity, easy to drive, easy to position (height is important), reacts accordingly to ancillary gear and signals fed. Also, I feel these are very high value given the cost to performance ratio. Maybe a down side is the studio looks (like it or not) and lack of deep bass extension.  Original owner, occasionally used in near field household environment.
