The High End Center speaker is a "brute" of a center channel speaker. Physically big and imposing, it throws out an even bigger soundstage. This was previously used under a 120" screen in an all Audio Physic speaker setup. Its three way design comprise of two 7" woofers, one 5.9" mid-woofer and one 1.75" tweeter. Vocals were sharp and accurate with excellent bass slam. To prevent the center speaker from stealing all the limelight in your home theater system, make sure you have even larger and more "grand slam" left and right speakers (like the Virgo which it was previously paired with) to pair it with.
Cosmetically, the speaker is in nice shape. The grille covers have some holes and some balling of the thread which we think should come off anyway when in use since the speaker looks way better without it. The speaker measure 25" wide and 13" tall and deep. It needs a sturdy stand to keep it locked down because it produces a fair bit of energy when in full steam. At 90dB and a nominal impedance of 4 ohm, it does need a fair amount of juice to really crank it up. Recommended power from the manufacturer was 25W to 180W but we recommend closer to the 180W if possible.
We don't have the original box but can securely pack this for safe shipping. Local pickup from our store welcomed.
Questions for the seller |

is this better than a B&W htm-1?
your asking price is similar, but most people go with the b&w? Hi,
Most people go for the B&W because it is cheaper which meant B&W sold more of which is why they are more available in the used market. The AP center speaker is more expensive and has a bigger and deeper soundstage. Their mids and bass has more presence but the B&W has better highs. If you want a large scale center channel sound, the AP wins over the HTM1.
