Bowers & Wilkens BW Matrix HTM Center Speaker - SWEET!

The B&W Matrix 805 HTM Speaker is an exceptional loudspeaker that takes everything Bowers & Wilkins learned in 15 years of designing and manufacturing the world-standard B&W model 801, and put it in a center speaker. It even uses exactly the same tweeter as the Matrix 801!
It is set apart from other speakers because of its "Matrix" enclosure. The biggest problem with speakers in boxes is that half the sound goes from the back of the drivers into the box, and then has to come back out somewhere, usually mangled through the box and the driver itself, mucking-up the sound.
Tweeter: 26mm (1") aluminum-dome. 3 kHz crossover. Ferro-fluid cooled. Mounted on top to eliminate box effects.
Woofer: 165mm (6-1/2") patented woven Kevlar cone. 3 kHz crossover. Rounded trim to reduce diffractive effects.
Very good condition. There are some "chatter" marks on the top of the tweeter and there is one snag in the grill at the corner. The speaker sounds excellent!
