Hi, I'm selling my Dynaudio Contour 1.3SE in Birds Eye Maple. Well, what is there to say about this famous speaker that hasn't been said already? It is widely considered to be one of Dynaudio's best bookshelf speakers ever, with people often swearing that they prefer them to speakers that cost many times more. Now they are getting harder and harder to find.

I think the condition of these speakers could almost make an 8/10, but have a very minor flaw on the front of one of the speakers, and I wanted to be safe, so I am rating these a 7/10. I actually bought them from an experienced member here on Audiogon and they were rated an 8/10 by him, and they are in identical condition as when I bought them, I simply choose to be conservative on the rating. They do have very noticeable marks on the bottom from stand mounting, and a few very minor flaws, but for the most part they are in very good cosmetic condition and are functionally flawless. They sound amazing as many of you already know, but you really want a very good amp and let them breath to get the best out of them.

I'm selling because I don't have the room/setup or amp to take full advantage of these speakers and have decided I'd rather have the money than these speakers. I have a pair of Contour 1.1s that I feel are a better fit for my current situation.

I am willing to take some HD video of these speakers and post it to youtube upon request so you get a really good idea about what you are getting (upon serious buyer request). They are not in original boxes but will come well packed.
I am in San Francisco but my home is not well suited for demoing them to guests, so I apologize but this will not be possible in person (plus they have sat unused for a long time so they will need to be re-broken in for full sound quality). With the exception of the flaw on the front, the pics should show the other flaws IIRC (they are currently boxed up ready to ship, but I will take them back out to reinspect soon and I will add anything notable if Audiogon allows updates).
