Dynaudio Contour S1.4

Up for sale is my pair of Dynaudio Contour S1.4's in cherry, purchased from an authorized dealer in early 2012. I have used these sparingly in a secondary system ever since; mostly with the T+A Music Receiver I also have listed, but occasionally with an almarro A318B tube amp. I am a decades-long audiophile, and these were treated well during their time with me.
Operationally these speakers are as new, and have always performed very, very well for me. They are a very refined sounding speaker without glaring deficiencies in the manner in which they present music; they are vastly more refined than Dynaudio's lower level entries (I had a pair of Focus before these), and really give you a huge chunk of their best sound for a fraction of the cost. They've kept me happy for 5 years, which is my longest relationship ever with a pair of loudspeakers...
Cosmetically they are a 9/10 except 2 notable flaws: one grille was slightly defective from the factory (see the photo of the rear of that grille) and the material doesn't go all the way around the edge. This results in an extremely small defect on the side of the grille. I couldn't see it from my listening position, so I never bothered with it. The second flaw is of my own doing: I use blu-tak on my stand mounted speakers and after being blu-tak'd for years the vinyl bottom veneer was damaged when I removed them from my stands.
So why am I selling? I have a bug to do a project this winter, and my wife said I had to move along some toys to make it happen. Since these live in a secondary system that sees very light use, they're first on the chopping block.
