Purchased NIB 1/2/2014. These speakers are simply magnificent near-field monitors. They have had less than 100 hours of use since I acquired them, as I have been focused on other pursuits and when time allows for listening, I have typically defaulted to Quad ESL 57s or Stax SR-009 'phones. If you know the sound of those electrostatic systems, you will see why the sound and build quality of the Eclipse 712 is so appealing.
Because I am clinically OCD, these have NEVER had a single fingerprint on them. I touch my gear only with cotton gloves for set-up and a Swiss (not Chinese Walmart) microfiber cloth for handling knobs and controls. So these really are 10/10, without exaggeration. The dedicated listening room is dust free, fed by a sealed Fujitsu HVAC system with filtered air, no smoke, no food, no pets, no humans, no nothing. It's not easy being me.
The dedicated Eclipse TD725SW Mk2 Subwoofer is available and should be considered essential. It is listed separately, for $3,200 ($6,400 retail).
While these can be shipped, the ideal buyer would be local and pick them up personally. Original boxes are of course included. A magnum of 2001 Pichon Lalande for the buyer who collects the whole system (including electronics, sold separately) in person.
