The CL-2 uses the famous Gallo CDT-3 wide-field thin film tweeter, and combines it with the Gallo 5.25-inch moving coil polymer damped carbon fiber woofer.

The CL-2 uses other Gallo proprietary Classico technologies like their advanced BLAST modified transmission line bass loading, patented S2 damping system and OPT Level 2. These add up to tremendous bass for a box this size as well as excellent dynamics and midrange/high frequency transparency.

This means a big sound from a traditional look, in a mini-monitor size (only 13.5" high).

The CL-2 goes down to 39Hz. Because of the perfect driver matching and unique
capabilities of the Gallo tweeter there is no passive crossover used in the
CL-2. No crossover is the holy grail of speaker design.
