"These speakers were rock solid in their sound presentation and the mid range was remarkably smooth and open." Jim Milton Home Theater
The rich, widely-dispersed sound of these speakers seems like it is coming from a much larger source. KEFs swanky speakers are like sculptures - the curves of this XQ-10 bookshelf pair will remind you of a classic car or a vintage piece of furniture. And the looks are just part of the package. The new hybrid titanium Uni-Q driver array and improved cross-over prove that KEF is always reaching for the heights of sophistication with both sound and style.
Price: $1,400/pair MSRP
This pair was hardly used and has been sitting for the past three years. It was only set up to test to it is not even broken in yet. I hate to part with these as they are so beautiful I thought to keep them around just to look at but alas, my better judgement says to sale them and allow someone else to use them instead of just having them sit around. I currently have a pair of Wilson Benesch Discovery II speakers - thus the reason the KEF xq 10's sit. The KEF's are excellent they just don't eclipse the Benesch at their 13k price.
