The 550 THX Surround Speaker by MK Sound is a high performance two-way, bookshelf surround speaker using a 1” polymer coated silk soft-dome, ferrofluid cooled neodymium magnet tweeter and a single 5¼” mineral-filled polypropylene cone, magnetically shielded cast basket woofer.
The 550 THX is designed for home theater systems in small to medium size rooms. It delivers delicate sonic transparency combined with tremendous dynamic capability resulting in minimal coloration and effortless handling of voices, percussive effects, and musical instruments with life-like impact. Because is is designed in a standard 2-way configuration these can also be used on smaller main speakers in a smaller family room system.
Protected by a black metal mesh grille. This was a local trade-in and is in like new condition with very minor scratches on the bottom from moving.
