      Although not
related in appearance to the current Magico line of upscale speaker systems, these Monitors have audio presentation  characteristics comparable to today's highest price models. The 12" woofer, 6" midrange and
1" sharp focus tweeter, are from Audio Technology of Denmark.  After Wolf
sold this pair out of his design studio 15 years ago, they were upgraded with Cardas interior wiring and a faster crossover system,
to create a powerful, detailed, neutral sound stage, similar to Magico' s very expensive  large speaker systems being sold today.

     The speakers have been used only occasionally,
part of a record collector's A grade reference system, and  played  somewhere between 500-1000 hours. In 2016, a
voice coil in one of the woofers went bad, and both woofers were reconed,
enhancing bass response to a greater degree.

        The physical
design purpose was to create ultimate cabinet rigidity using 5/8 "
aircraft aluminum in the sidewalls, and 2 1/2 " in the face
plate. Thus the speakers do not produce any harmonic vibration, and the speakers are aurally "invisible",
only the recorded sound is perceived. Each side weighs over 500 lbs, but they are not
difficult to move, 2 men and and a furniture dolly does the trick.

        The speakers
are of efficient design, currently powered by a Rogue 110 W stereo amp, they may work well with even less power.

      The speakers
are finished to showroom standards, and the overall appearance is

above excellent. Included with the purchase of the speakers the Audioquest CV-6 3 meter. Bi wire

     The speakers are located in Palm Desert, California, about 2
1/2 hours from Los Angeles and San Diego. Local pick up is of most interest. Alternatively,
the seller would be able to deliver the speakers for a nominal fee, up to 500 miles radius from Palm
Desert, Ca. including San Francisco, Las Vegas and Phoenix.

      Appointments to
