Merlin Music Systems TSM-BME Black Magic Edition - last version

For your consideration is one of the last pair of TSM manufactured. These are the Black Magic Edition TSM - original BME, not upgraded. These, my 3rd pair of TSMs in 15 years (still have the other two pair) were just recently replaced by an unexpected impulsive purchase of VSM-MXe. I have been ack and forth between them and truth be told, the Ruby Heart Red on the VSM has me keeping them in my main listening room.

I find it amazing that, in many ways, these little gems out perform their larger siblings. The perfection achieved in the crossovers makes them sound as if they were a single driver design.

These is nothing that I can say that do these understated marvels justice. Thise that know the Merlin story know that the Wizard of Hemlock, Bobby P, passed last year. It is difficult to let these go knowing that they were among the last dozen or so pair of loudspeakers he ever built but finances won't allow me to keep everything.

These are one-owner and built specifically for me a month before Bobby's passing. I am rating a 9 because there are people with better eyes than mine that may be able to identify a blemish that I cannot find.
