Sonus Faber Venere 1.5 black w/ stands

Here's an opportunity to own a current model in Sonus Faber's Venere line at a greatly reduced price.  

These Venere 1.5 stand-mount speakers are a 2-way design with a soft-dome tweeter and polypropylene woofer. These are very natural and non-fatiguing sounding and have received universally positive reviews. The black gloss finish is very attractive and the matching stands are included in this sale.  
 
Performance-wise, these Venere speakers sound fantastic - essentially as new. Cosmetically, there is one corner with damage to the veneer. See photograph. It could be touched up slightly, but I'll leave that to the next owner. The grill on this speaker is likewise marred. So, this pair will look better with grills off, or a new grill can always be purchased from Sumiko USA at any time. Thus, rated at "6" to conservatively adhere to AudioGon guidelines. Beyond that, these speakers are in solid shape. A couple very light surface scratches can be seen on the sides of the gloss finish when looking extremely closely in direct light - not possible to photograph competently due to mirror-like coating.  Speakers and stands will be packed separately in original Sonus Faber shipping cartons.  Buyer to pay actual shipping cost based on my UPS/FEDEX account rate.
