Studio Electric SE Monitor

Excellent sealed monitors, two years old and in great condition. Rated a conservative 8/10, one must look really close to notice any cosmetic scuffs (see pics). For those not big fans of the art deco grilles, the speakers also come with more of a contemporary style grille as seen in one of the photos. I much prefer the deco grills, but upon close inspection of the contemporary grilles some glue can be seen where the mesh attaches to the frame.
These sealed cabinets go down to a surprising 47Hz with tight, articulate bass. I used them without a sub. They have a very alive sound, with great detail retrieval, musical and without any graininess or fatigue.
BTW, on the Studio Electric website you'll find a link to a accurate, positive review of this speaker (click on "reviews and comments" under the T3), and that the SE Monitors are now being sold by Benchmark Media Systems (the two companies have had a long standing association).
