The speakers are in good overall
condition. It should be noted that the tweeter on the speaker pictured
on the left has what appears to be a pulled out dent. After listening to
the speakers for several hours it appears to have no impact on the
soundstage and no colorations or distortions are present to my ear. The dust cap
on woofer of the same speaker (again pictured on the left) has a very
minor indentation. I've taken close up pictures of both instances even though they aren't shown here I would be more than happy to send you images of higher quality. The
cabinets have some cosmetic flaws. The most significant is that one
speaker is noticeably lighter on the top due to more exposure to natural
light. There are also some minor white marks from paint on the right
side and back of the speaker pictured on the right. There are
approximately 10 of these markings on the speaker. The base of each
speaker has some minor rippling. There are some very small flakes off
the black finish of the front baffle. This is not readily noticeable
without close inspection. The integrity of the cabinets is fantastic. They look very nice despite their flaws. If you would like I can email more detailed images to you so you can get a better idea of what you would receive assuming you would make a purchase.

Because of the minor but present flaws I would have rated these 7/10, HOWEVER, because the tweeter is not perfect I don't want to break Audiogon's rules and policies therefore the rating is shown as 2/10. It's not an accurate representation of the condition, but I cannot dispute that the tweeter has a blemish. I won't be so bullish to say it has absolutely no impact on the performance of the speaker, however I haven't noticed any sonic detriment.

I'm being as meticulous describing these
speakers as I would expect someone selling these to me would be. I aim
to exceed expectations where I can.

As mentioned above the speakers come with
the original boxes and mounting spikes. The boxes have the original
heavy plastic bags and packing materials. Each speaker packed weighs
approximately 40 pounds (speakers weight 30 pounds each). Remember that the shipping quote you see needs to be doubled because their are two boxes. Shipping FedEX
is my preference as it is the most cost effective. Shipping will only
be offered to the lower 48 states. Speakers will be insured for the full
