Triad Speakers InWall Silver/4 Montior speakers

Up for sale is a pair of custom Triad InWall Silver/4 monitor speakers. I had been using these in my surround sound system in my basement with my Sonus Faber front speakers. I have sold off my Sonus Faber towers, and am selling my center currently. Next to go are my surrounds. These are custom in that I had existing holes from a previous surround sound setup and I had them make these speakers the same size as my older speakers so that no drywall repair would be needed. What this means is that they are slightly larger than the normal model, but no deeper. Triad charged me a fee to do this, but now that the speaker is in their system, if you wanted to match a third speaker for a front 3 speaker combo (for example) they could match it.

I have everything original from these speakers, the boxes, the packaging, the grills, wall frames, and speakers.

The speakers themselves are in fantastic condition, considering they were put in to a wall. I have cleaned them up and they look about an 8/10 (there are some slight scuffs, you would never see them once the wall frames go on). The grilles are perfect. The wall frames on the back side have some paint that flaked off, again, you won't see that once the speaker is mounted in the wall.

I have owned these speakers for about 2.5 years and they haven't been used in my surround sound system for about the past 8 months. In terms of power, I have been using a Datasat 7300 amplifier to drive them.

In the Triad lineup, these are just about as good as it gets. The monitor series uses premium drivers and there is a reason I used $4000 speakers with my $36,000 front towers, they are incredibly good for the price. I have a pair of InRoom Gold Monitors that I use (I use that term loosely as I'm never home to use them) in my office, which will be for sale shortly as well. The silver monitors stack up very well against the golds, with the golds having the advantage of playing a little louder and being every so slightly smoother.
