I have three audio systems in a one-bedroom home, so am scaling down the middle system. These Audio Note AX-Two bookshelf monitors in black ash with upgraded silver wiring sound amazing and work well with many amps in many environments. You can actually put them on a bookshelf or on tall stands and still get near full-range, very dynamic sound similar to the classic Spendor and Rogers BBC monitors in a somewhat more modern and long-lasting design. Ideally you should bi-wire these, but you can use jumpers as well.
