These are a matched pair of Mullard M 8162 military tubes from the early 1960s. Made in Mitcham, UK factory. These glorious tubes have the British version of sweet warmth in the lower and mid-ranges. The top end is silky without being rolled off. There is a sense of air at the top end. Low noise makes them ideal for phono stages. $100.00 for the pair!
