I'm selling a Cary CInema 5 amp in black. This monster can output 5 x 200 watts into eight Ohms and 5 x 350 watts into 4 Ohms. I've used it to drive Paradigm Reference and KEF speakers with great results. This system was in a second home and thus didn't see much use: probably less than 400 hours total. I agree with many critics in that this is a great amp for both music and movies.
Output can be selected for balanced or unbalanced operation. The C5 will also work very well for bi-amped systems using four of the five channel.
I'm selling because I have just moved, and alas, my new house won't accommodate a surround setup.
Unit is in a good condition with a small nick on the top edge of the face plate. Very heavy piece -- 80 lbs! -- so local pickup in NY/CT is an option. It's boxed up now and ready to ship.
