Legendary Museatex CDD transport with C-Clock jitter reduction circuitry and beautiful mahogany sides. This is a very special and unique unit. It has a new CDM-1 MK2 laser mechanism, new capacitors on the servo board, and additional special modifications which elevates its performance well beyond stock units. Modifications include an IEC receptacle wired internally to transformer with API Power Link 313 powercord, high-quality Vampire SPDIF RCA jack, extra vibration dampening around transformer, and special internal wiring in strategic spots.
The unit is in perfect working condition and has been very well-taken care of. I am the original owner and have all original boxing with specially designed padding for the CDD (will be double-boxed for extra safety). There are two slight cosmetic blemishes on the top and bottom front corners of the mahogany side on the right. The remote works fine but shows some sign of external wear (will include extra keypads for remote since the membranes in keypads tend to wear out after awhile). I have rated conservatively for age but everything looks and works excellently.
The CDD was especially designed to be used with the legendary Museatex Bidat and Bitstream DACs, but works fabulously with any other DAC. Retail price was $2000. I spent an extra $1000 on modifications and new laser mechanism. I will sell for only $750 plus shipping. Paypal users, please add 3%. I have 100% feedback. Buy with confidence.
