Music Hall DAC 25.3 - w. Async USB, Tube Output, upgraded tubes, Stereophile recomm., FREE SHIP

Hello all, selling my beloved Music Hall 25.3 DAC, only because I upgraded to an ANtelope Zodiac. I have owned or tried out at home almost all the DACs in this price range - the V-Dac, HRT Music Streamer Pro, Arcam rDac, and even the Stereophile class A Centrance dacmini, and preferred the Music Hall to all of them (with the possible exception of the Centrance, a very very nice DAC, but which is pricier and will cost you almost double my asking price.) It locks in the clarity and resolution extremely well, but is also wonderfully musical (I presume because of the tube output stage, especially with the upgrade NOS Siemens tube I have installed). I mostly used the USB input, which is asynchronous, but the coax and optical inputs are equally good. In addition to the very unique tube-output feature, the Music Hall DAC also has balanced/XLR outputs, which none of the dacs under $1000 have.

Retails for $600, plus $75 for the tube upgrade. I'm asking only $475, and have owned it for less than a year., purchased from authorized dealer ListenUp Condition is very good - no significant flaws or damage. The 7/10 rating is conservative - a few *very* minor flaws to the faceplate, not visible from distances of 6-12" or more (i/e/ only if you shine a light on it and look at it very up close.). Most would not even mention such things, but I believe in full disclosure.

My price is fair and firm. Shipping is FREE, but I do ask for the usual 3% addition for paypal fees if paying by paypal, much preferred method of payment. Happy to ship anywhere in the world, and domestically via your preferred method (left to my own devices I will probably use Fedex). Original box, packing and manual included.
