For sale a Musical Fidelity A-1008 tube CD player. This is Musical Fidelity's flagship all in one player. This one is the latest model with the transport recessed into the chasis, the original had an unsightly protrusion on top of the box. It uses the Phillips Pro2 transport which is considered one of the finest available. Has latest model DAC coupled with the tubes. Has solid state or tube output selectable. Playback when paired with comproble components is first class, smooth, open and detailed. Built in typical Musical Fidelity fashion, quality everything. I am the original owner, would estimate less than 500 hours operating time. The unit looks and performs like it came out of the box. Remote and manual included and will be shipped in original double boxes. Shipping included at the asking price.
